Glow Slow Holiday- Day 5- Finding Clarity for the Year Ahead

by Lauren Lozano on Dec 08 2025
This year taught me that clarity comes from quieting the noise. When I stepped back from constant input and leaned into Scripture, stillness, and intentional rhythms, everything in my life and business began to shift. In this post, I’m sharing the exact tools that helped me tune into God’s voice, rebuild my focus, and walk into my calling with confidence. If you’re craving direction for 2026, start here.

Glow Slow Holiday — Day 4: The Days That Change You

by Lauren Lozano on Dec 06 2025
We all have those moments… “I don’t feel like walking.” “I don’t feel like cooking something healthy.” “I don’t feel like tracking today.” “I don’t feel like showing up.” And it’s easy to believe that these moments mean something is wrong with us—or that we’re failing, or falling behind, or destined to start again in January. But here’s the truth: Real change never happens on the days you feel motivated. It happens on the days you don’t. This season can feel heavy—emotionally, mentally, spiritually. There are more demands, more noise, less sleep, and fewer systems keeping you grounded. So if your mood feels a little off, this is great news because it means the opportunity is here. The opportunity to prove to yourself that you can still take a walk even when you don’t feel like it. That you can choose a nourishing meal even when it would be easier not to. That you can show up for your health—even for five minutes—on days when your feelings try to pull you off track. These are the choices that build momentum for the new year. A Simple Mindset Tool for Days You Don’t Feel Like It Ask yourself: “What is one thing I don’t feel like doing today… that I can choose to do anyway?” Just one. One walk. One nourishing meal. One glass of water. One step toward the woman you’re becoming. Even one tiny aligned choice shifts your energy, your confidence, and your direction. You don’t need perfect days to change your life. You only need to show up—especially on the days when you don’t want to. Those are the days that transform you.

✨ Glow Slow Holiday — Day 3: How to Lose 5 lbs Before the End of the Year (Without Cutting Joy or Holiday Treats) ✨

by Lauren Lozano on Dec 05 2025
There’s a stat I keep coming back to this time of year: Most people don’t even think about getting healthy until January 1st. They wait until the calendar flips, the decorations are packed, and the holiday overwhelm finally settles. But what I’ve learned—through coaching, through motherhood, and through taking my own health back—is this: Your January results are created in December. The choices you make now determine whether you start the new year already tired, puffy, and frustrated…or already glowing, energized, and 5 pounds lighter with your rhythms set. And what I love most is that these four steps don’t speed your life up—they slow it down. Each one invites you to pause long enough to breathe, support your body, and choose rhythms that feel gentle instead of frantic.   1. Begin with the OmniCleanse Detox Kit This is the foundation. When your detox pathways are sluggish, your metabolism is sluggish too. And during the holidays—when sugar, alcohol, stress, and less sleep are the norm—your body needs support more than ever. The Omni Cleanse Detox helps: Reduce inflammation Improve digestion and reduce bloating Support your liver (your fat-burning organ!) Balance energy + mood Set the stage for easier fat loss in January This is NOT a harsh detox. It’s a gentle, supportive protocol that clears the “static” in your system so your nutrition actually lands. Clearing out what’s congesting your metabolism is one of the easiest ways to drop a few pounds quickly—while also preparing your body for sustainable results in the new year. Use code WELCOME10 for 10% off the kit I’m also creating a full, beautiful guide for this detox launching in January… BUT if you want to jump in early, I will personally walk you through it for free. You just need your supplies here. Once you order them, I’ll be in touch to get you all setup!   2. Eat Your Body Weight in Grams of Protein   If weight loss is the goal, protein is the strategy. Protein stabilizes your blood sugar, reduces cravings, keeps you fuller longer, and tells your body to burn fat instead of muscle. For a 140-lb woman → aim for about 140g per day. If you’re not there yet, no worries—start increasing slowly and focus on lean proteins like: Chicken Ground turkey Turkey burgers Lean beef Tuna Egg whites If you need inspiration, try my Hot Honey Chicken Bowl—it’s high protein, family-approved, and delicious. 👉 Link to recipe here.   3. Get 12,000 Steps Per Day Think of 10,000 steps as your “maintenance” zone. If you want to lose, go 2–3k above that. I tell my clients all the time: Steps are the underrated secret weapon of fat loss. Not workouts. Not cardio. Steps. Walking stabilizes blood sugar, reduces cortisol, and keeps your metabolism humming all day long. And the best part? It forces you to slow down, breathe, and actually experience the season instead of racing through it. 👉 Quick tip: Break it up. 4k morning 4k afternoon 4k evening Suddenly, 12k doesn’t feel like a marathon.   4. Put Your Fork Down When You’re Full This sounds simple, but it’s one of the most powerful shifts you can make. When you eat too quickly, your hunger hormones don’t have time to catch up—and by the time your brain realizes you’re full, you’re already past the point of comfortable fullness. This season, practice slowing down: Chew your food fully Sip water between bites Put the fork down for a moment Notice the flavors, textures, warmth These habits do not just support fat loss, it also ushers peace back into your eating rhythms. This is what Glow Slow is all about: stepping out of the rushed, frantic pace the world invites us into, and stepping into the gentle, intentional rhythms that nourish your body and your spirit.

Stress Reducing Morning Ritual

by Lauren Lozano on Nov 26 2025
Today is all about a morning ritual that will reduce your stress and bring total joy to your day. Enter: my go to homemade adaptogenic latte. The only latte recipe you need. It’s only around 100 calories and supports metabolism, hormones, and reduces stress. And bonus-it tastes delicious!    You can find the full tutorial on my instagram here. You can also find the link to my favorite holiday athletic set + to go cups from this video here. Now let’s get into all the health benefits: Raw A2 Grass-Fed Milk Milk that your body might tolerate more smoothly, especially if you struggle with digesting A1 proteins. Raw A2 milk is naturally rich in enzymes, probiotics, omega-3s, all things that are ruined by the pasteurized counterpart. This can be tricky to find as many grocers refuse to carry them. I find mine at Bristol Farms, Sprouts, or Mother’s Market. Call your local health food grocers to see if they carry. Sadly, it is not available at Whole Foods. It supports strong hormones, steady energy, and glowing skin from within. Raw, Unfiltered Honey Unheated. Unprocessed. Alive. Raw honey brings enzymes, antioxidants, and prebiotic support for a healthy gut microbiome. It gives you quick, usable energy — but more gently than refined sweeteners. Think smooth, steady fuel rather than a spike-and-crash cycle. Make sure whatever you buy is raw, organic, unfiltered….that has the most health benefits. Himalayan Sea Salt Just a pinch — but don’t skip it. This brings out the flavor in the honey and adds electrolytes like sodium, magnesium & potassium help support hydration, muscle function, and adrenal balance. Especially helpful during cold, dry weather, busy mornings, workouts, or hormone-driven hunger swings. But now onto the most important part….. Olive Mush- My Self-Care Secret Weapon Olive Mush combines olive leaf + botanical herbs + functional mushrooms into a chai flavored blend that supports more than flavor — it supports balance, resilience, and calm.  Here’s what makes it a game-changer: Adaptogenic support — Because Olive Mush includes mushrooms like Reishi mushroom, Cordyceps, and Lion’s Mane, it offers adaptogenic effects. Adaptogens help the body adapt to physical, emotional, and environmental stress, supporting a balanced stress response instead of overreaction.   Stable energy + mental clarity — without the coffee jitters — Unlike caffeine-heavy drinks, Olive Mush delivers gentle energy, focus, and calm alertness. Mushrooms like cordyceps contribute to oxygen utilization and endurance. Lion’s Mane supports cognition, nerve health, and mental sharpness.   Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory & immune-supportive — Olive leaf (and its components) combined with the bioactive compounds in mushrooms provide antioxidants, help modulate immune response, and contribute to cellular health. The skin benefits are incredible too as it’s rich in polyphenols. Holistic nourishment: body, mind & stress resilience — This latte becomes more than a morning treat; it becomes a ritual that supports metabolic balance, hormonal rhythm, stress resilience, and nourishing energy — a gentle wake-up for both body and nervous system. Blend your latte like this: 1 cup raw A2 grass-fed milk 1–2 tsp raw honey Pinch of Himalayan sea salt One shot of espresso 1 tsp–1 Tbsp Olive Mush (adjust to taste) Day 2 Glow Slow Holiday Wellness Tip:  Choose a morning beverage that supports your body and nervous system — we don’t want to be running on fumes. Try this latte today, or tweak your usual morning drink by adding minerals + healthy fats + adaptogenic support. See how you feel. Notice your energy. Notice how calm (or not) your nervous system feels. Journal Prompt What does my body feel like when I slow down enough to nourish it — not just wake it up? Reflect on the difference between running on adrenaline and running on nourishment. What rhythms make you feel calm, steady, and energized?

A Simple Makeup Routine + A Deeper Kind of Beauty

by Lauren Lozano on Nov 24 2025
Day 1 of Glow Slow Holiday invites women to simplify their makeup routine and rediscover a more effortless, nourishing approach to beauty. Lauren shares her four-step clean makeup regimen—featuring tinted sunscreen, a contour stick, multipurpose blush/lip tint, and a hydrating setting spray—all made with waterless formulas and antioxidant-rich hydroxytyrosol from the olive leaf to support healthy, glowing skin. But the heart of the post goes deeper than makeup. Lauren reflects on how holiday beauty pressure can distract from what truly matters: cultivating inner beauty through Scripture, prayer, and reflection. She encourages readers to pair a simplified outer routine with a grounded inner rhythm by using the Abundant Life Journal to slow down, meet with God, and nurture the “gentle and quiet spirit” described in 1 Peter 3:3–5. Day 1 ends with a journal prompt and wellness rhythm to help women release external expectations and choose a more peaceful, intentional start to the holiday season.
