Daily Skincare Steps

  • Cleanse

Cleansing helps remove dirt, oil, and bacteria that can clog pores and dull your complexion.

    Morning:

Skip the cleanser unless you’ve worked out, slept in makeup, or are experiencing breakouts. A gentle rinse with cool or lukewarm water is enough to refresh the skin without stripping its natural oils.

    Evening:

Always double cleanse. Start with an oil cleanser to dissolve makeup, SPF, and impurities—take time to massage it in, then add a little water to emulsify before removing with a clean, warm cloth. Follow with a gel or cream cleanser to lift away any remaining residue and balance the skin. Gently pat dry with a clean towel.

  • Toner/Tonic

Toning helps balance your skin’s pH and preps it to better absorb the products that follow.

You can mist directly onto your face, spray into your hands and gently press it in, or apply to a cotton pad and sweep across the skin to remove any leftover residue.

This step restores balance, tightens pores, and creates the perfect base for your serums and moisturizers to do their best work.

  • Serum/Elixir

Serums and elixirs deliver concentrated ingredients that help repair, hydrate, and strengthen the skin barrier.

Use 2–3 drops of each. You can layer or mix some formulas for better absorption—but avoid mixing products that contain actives.

Actives are powerful ingredients like retinol, vitamin C or AHAs that create change in the skin. When combined incorrectly, they can cause irritation or reduce effectiveness.

Instead, try skin cycling—rotating your active serums every few nights. This approach allows your skin time to repair and adapt, giving you all the benefits of targeted treatments without overloading your barrier.

  • Eyes

The skin around your eyes is thinner and more delicate, making it one of the first areas to show signs of fatigue or aging. Treat it with extra care and intention.

If you’re using an elixir, place one drop on your ring finger and gently spread it under the eyes and along the brow bone (just below the eyebrow). Lightly pat any remaining product onto the eyelids.

Next, apply your eye cream using your ring finger—dab a small amount under the eyes and at the outer corners (where fine lines and crow’s feet tend to appear).

✨ My tip: At night, I love applying a slightly thicker layer of eye cream to act as an overnight eye mask. It helps lock in moisture, smooth fine lines, and leaves the eye area plump and refreshed by morning.

  • Moisturizer/Cream

Moisturizing is essential for sealing in hydration and keeping your skin barrier strong, supple, and protected. It locks in the benefits of your serums and elixirs while defending against environmental stressors.

Use a lightweight moisturizer in the morning to layer seamlessly under sunscreen or makeup, and a richer cream at night to deeply replenish the skin while you sleep.

Gently massage your moisturizer into the face and neck using upward motions to promote circulation and lift.

✨ Pro tip: Don’t forget your neck and décolletage—these areas need the same nourishment and protection as your face to maintain a youthful glow.
